Geologist Advisor

The client is currently looking for a Geologist Advisor for a major operator based in Malaysia. This is a Staff position and the client are only for looking for Malaysian Nationals based around KL.

Requirements:

Minimum: B.Sc. in Geology or Earth Science.
Minimum of 15 plus years of practical experience in an operator or leading consultancy, working on field development studies, asset evaluation and reservoir modeling. The candidate is expected to have an experience of data management, mapping, log analysis, reservoir description and to have specialist knowledge of 3D reservoir modeling workflow and processes. Ideally the candidate will have worked in a multidisciplinary team providing geological input for the static and dynamic reservoir model. A high-level understanding of structural and reservoir uncertainty modeling for volumetric analysis using stochastic and probabilistic techniques is particularly desirable.
Proficient in the use and application of industry standard computer mapping techniques and 3D geological modeling software.
