Job Description:

• The Scientific Technician performs tests and analyzes results per written procedure or protocol to resolve technical issues with current or modified product configurations.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing with regards to failure investigations for reagent, calibrator and control issues.
• Execute simple to moderately complex experiments and analyze results.
• Participate on teams assigned by supervisor in failure investigations, process improvements, and production processes.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft EXCEL and Word.
• Must have a solid understanding of Quality Systems Regulations and ensure compliance with regards to product life cycle.
• Must be self motivated and action oriented with excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, preferably Chemistry, Biochemistry or Molecular Biology.
• 0-2 years relevant experience in diagnostic manufacturing environment is preferred.
