The client is a Major Oil Company, they are looking to hire a Process Engineer on a 12 month contract to work in their contractor's office in London reviewing their FEED deliverables.
The project is based in the south of Iraq and involves developing a Gas Hub with the objective to valorize currently flared associated gas from several onshore oil fields by gathering and transporting this gas to a new gas processing plant (GPP).
The project also includes an extended pipeline interconnecting network together with an export storage and offloading jetty terminal. The project will be developed in two phases, respectively designed to process 300 MMSCFD of raw gas each.
Advanced expertise is required in the following:
- in petroleum & gas industry in process engineering at all life- cycle stages of project development (FEED, Basic and Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Installation, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning) for the oil and gas exploration-production industry - specially for onshore fields,
- Process simulation software (as minimum: Aspen Plus, Aspen Plus Dynamics, PRO/II, UNISIM or equivalent, FlareSIm or equivalent, Pipenet);
- Process design according to Oil & Gas Industry Standards (API, NORSOK, etc).
- in Sour Gas Service Design,
- in GLN, - Green House Gas and Energy.
