QC Inspector / USA

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure all QC inspection is completed and documented as per company's quality procedures and applicable standards. To assist in Quality Management Systems upkeep and coordination as directed by Senior QHSSE Advisor.

Directly reports to:

Senior QHSSE Advisor (with daily duties coordinated by Manufacturing Director)

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Completing goods receiving process for the facility
• To review and retain QC related documentation received from suppliers
• To complete QC inspection on received production components
• To complete and file QC inspection reports
• Transact receipt, inspection of goods within the company ERP system
• To witness inspection of components at supplier locations, where required
• Issue internal Concession Requests, when required, and follow the relevant process
• Issue internal NCR's, as required, and follow the relevant process
• To spot-check production process and ensure completion of all production traceability records
• To complete final inspection activities and issue Certificates of Conformity
• To process and file all QAQC documentation for each Work Order
• To maintain Calibration Register
• To control inventory of calibrated devices, calibration and maintenance activities
• Assist with inventory counts, where required
• To perform general QA/QC duties, as directed
• The role may develop, together with facility development, and include additional responsibilities in the future

INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES

• To demonstrate commitment to the quality of service, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding customer expectations;
• To demonstrate personal commitment to protection of Health, Safety and protection of the Environment;
• To follow company QHSE Policy, relevant operational procedures, HSE procedures and risk assessments;
• To communicate and report on any perceived non-conformances or faults in the service provided or in the company's Quality or HSE Management Systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

• Experience in quality inspection, preferably in the oil and gas industry
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Sound knowledge of ISO 9001
• Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Office essential
• Driving license essential
• Standard Grades or equivalent, at minimum

Preferred:

• Internal Auditor
• Forklift and overhead crane certs an advantage
• Stores and inventory coordination experience
• Internal Auditor Certification
• Further Education in Quality or Engineering focused discipline
