Construction Manager

Job Duties:

• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
• Work with contract construction crews to oversee the quality of work, applying construction best practices and enforcing adherence to documented design
• Lead safety discussions and conduct contractor safety verifications to ensure work is completed without incident
• Coordinate and optimize activity to reduce delays and overspend
• Track project progress and communicate updates to the team. Schedule activity around the availability of resources
• Participate in planning activities with engineering to confirm the practicality of design and execution plan
• Review and confirm bill of materials, track delivery

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with execution of onshore oil and gas construction projects (construction specialist or similar role)
• Knowledge of construction best practices and standards
• Experience with applicable industry safety practices
• Ability to use Microsoft office products and collaboration tools to track and organize information related to project execution
