Role: Security Manager
Location: Middle East
Rate: Competitive
Duration: 12 months renewable
Rotation: 28/28
Experience
o Biometric badging experience
o Management of large technical security project – Including CCTV & access control systems (walk through metal detectors, x-ray machines etc…)
o Experience with managing multi-national workforce
o Experience with managing sub-contractors – Tendering and contract award process, day to day management of contracts and contractors
o Project delivery in a challenging environment
o IT literate – Microsoft systems and other biometric associated software programmes
Principal Accountabilities:
o Enhancement of badging strategy and policies
o Delivery of detailed briefings to management and employees on badging policy and protocols
o Training, development and management of the designated badging officers ensuring the highest standards of system expertise and application are achieved
o Ensure data entry is accurate, compliant with policy and fit for purpose.
o The development and implementation of security procedures and protocols covering the security integrity of all documentation in accordance with Data Protection policies
o Conduct regular audits of departmental and contractor procedural application and adherence levels
o Develop and assist in the delivery of system related training programs to designated security staff.
o Compile and submit asset requisition orders though the relevant logistical channels where required
o Be the subject matter expert for all badging related issues
o Implementation of Access Control strategy and policies
o Work closely all access control security agencies to ensure field access for all authorised personnel, vehicles, and equipment
o Delivery of briefings to all staff and Contractors detailing policy and procedures to enable movement within the Field
o Assist in the development and delivery of system related training programs to designated Access control security staff
o Be culturally aware and act in a manner that is appropriate mindful of the cultural diversity
Key Challenges:
o Implementation and management oversight of operational Pass offices
o Be the subject matter expert for all Field Access related issues
o Management of the Security Access Control Team
Criteria:
o Proven operational experience in a demanding high-risk environment.
o Ability to demonstrate a high level of diligence, initiative, and accuracy with limited supervision.
o Ability to draft detailed and accurate reports.
o Previous Oil and Gas security operations experience or similar. Preferable – not essential.
