Contract: Permit/Approvals Coordinator / Australia

We are looking forPermit/Approvals Coordinator for a long-term contract opportunity. This is a Queensland based position on an attractive roster.

Job Requirements:

You will be response for coordination, communication and expediting of third party permits in order for the construction activities to be conducted. This will also include:

• Providing assurance for permit compliance and permit approval in advance of construction activities
• Weekly permit coordination meetings involving various departments and construction contractors
• Ensure all permits and associated documents are archived and stored as per the correct processes
• Maintain Third Party Permit tracking register with respect to status and required timing
• Expedite contractor and other stakeholder input into third party permit applications
• Site focal point for off-plot construction third party permits
• Be an active and key participant in Project Safety toolboxes
• Engage in business improvement initiatives and general assistance as part of the off-plot project group
• Verifying contractor provided information prior to passing on to other departments
• Ensure that responsible parties carry out their activities by the required date to meet the construction program

About You:

• Demonstrated experience working as a Permit/Approvals Coordinator
• A thorough understanding of third-party permits required for gathering and pipeline construction would be highly advantageous
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, along with a strong commitment to health & safety
• Residing in Queensland
