Manager Heavy Lift / Qatar

The Manager Heavy Lift will manage and lead the Heavy Lift business unit in terms of operations, product placement and strategic direction as well as acting as a subject matter expert for all lifting related activities.

• Advise and brief on progress of all work under his/her control
• Deliver business strategy and operational excellence through effective cooperation with corporate functions and business unit personnel
• Manage long term relationships with customers, agents, suppliers and contractors
• Positively represent Milaha as a subject matter expert on all heavy lift activities
• Prepare annual budget and business plan for Heavy Equipment Business Unit and deliver against it

Qualifications & Experience 

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Competent Person / Appointed Person accredited qualification
• LEEA accreditation or equivalent
• Solid experience preferably within the oil and gas industry
• Demonstratable track record of managing heavy lift operations
• Comprehensive knowledge of rigging & lifting operational techniques, regulatory /legislative requirements and planning methods
• Demonstratable significant knowledge and experience in rigging and lifting operations within procedural/legislative requirements in the oil and gas industry
• Good understanding of Oil & Gas markets
• Overall knowledge of the Heavy Lift industry
• Good knowledge of technical and commercial aspects of heavy lift
• GCC/Middle East experience, international experience is beneficial
