Role Synopsis
• Delivery of safe, reliable, and efficient planning and execution of integrity related activity which ensures integrity of the facilities.
• Responsible for the coordination of internal and external inspections on all static equipment across the field, comprising 14 degassing stations, 2 water treatment plants, 6 water injection pump stations and over 1000 pipelines and flowlines.
• Maintaining the Inspection Database Management System (IDMS)
• Ensuring compliance with internationally recognised inspection codes, standards, and related procedures.
• Mentor and coach local national inspectors and technicians on the application of international inspection standards and best practice within facilities.
Key Accountabilities
• Responsible for defining inspection scopes, reviewing inspection and NDE results and defining endorsement frequencies for all static plant and equipment under the accountability of Integrity Management.
• Management of the anomaly database with responsibility for raising of anomaly reports and issue to maintenance. Escalation of hi-priority anomalies to management.
• Support the development and management of the risk-based inspection strategy within the IDMS.
• Input to RBA / RBI assessments, definition of inspection scopes and assessment of results.
• Ability to produce detailed work packs, assessment of results and write detailed technical reports.
• Able to perform inspections in extreme environments on ageing equipment with limited technical data available.
• Monitoring and review of monthly KPIs and performance indicators.
• Ability to mentor and coach local national inspectors and technicians.
• Liaise with relevant contractors and vendors (local and international).
• Knowledge of QA/QC requirements and procedures for new construction and repair activities
• Demonstrate leadership and compliance with HSSE expectations.
• Record relevant learning in shared learning systems, incorporate into local activities, specifications/practices/procedures and escalate as appropriate
• Participate in failure investigation and root cause analysis
• Identification of continuous improvement opportunities for asset integrity management strategies.
Criteria & Qualifications
Minimum educational / certification requirements:
• Current API 510, 570, 653, EEMUA 159 certifications or evidence of working under defined letter of authority from a recognized UKAS accredited ISO 17020 Inspection Body (Category 1 or 2)
• Certification in basic NDE techniques (UT/MPI/DPI) or able to demonstrate extensive experience of defining inspections scopes and assessment of results.
• In-depth technical knowledge of routine non-destructive inspection techniques, an appreciation of advanced / specialist NDT techniques and detailed understanding of materials technology and corrosion mechanisms.
Minimum experience requirements:
• 10 years industry experience of in-service inspection scope definition, execution, assessment of results and endorsement of equipment in compliance with international standards for vessels, pipework, and storage tanks.
• Technical knowledge of all key API integrity related standards: API 510 / 570 / 579 / 580 / 653 and EEMUA 159
• Detailed knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards
• Previous experience of working in a major oil and gas environment within a top tier COMAH site (Midstream or Downstream facilities)
• Technical application and management of RBA / RBI methodology

• Previous experience of working in a multicultural environment.`
