Contract: Communications Advisor / Australia

The client a Global Oil and Gas Operator in Perth CBD are currently recruiting for a Communications Advisor to join them for an initial 12 months.

This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a high performing team to protect and enhance the reputation of a global corporation through creative and impactful communications.
Report to the Communications Manager as part of a team of 8 and part of the broader Corporate Affairs team of 28.


Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop communications plans and products to influence external stakeholders and protect/enhance the reputation of the company.
• Provide advice to the business on internal and external communications, including strategies to engage target audiences, communications trends, use of communications tools and channels, and development of messaging.
• Prepare/review external communications including speeches, presentations, research papers and award submissions, including on behalf of senior company leaders.
• Develop content for company website, social media channels and publications.
• Support crisis communications as required.

Skills and Experience required:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of issues and stakeholders relevant to the resources/oil and gas sector
• Experience supporting executive leader communications
• Brand/marketing, graphic design, social media and website experience desirable
• Experience with MS applications including Office suite, Teams, Planner, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Familiarity with Adobe creative suite desirable.
