Contract: GS Senior Project Engineer - Greenfield / Kazakhstan

Location: Tengiz 28/28

Job Knowledge and Experience – Demonstrated leadership role in Phase 4 mega-project delivery. Large-scale onshore international projects experience preferred. Demonstrated fluency and experience with the CPMS process with effective application of project engineering work processes and deliverables. Experience in onshore construction contract management preferred. Experience with SIMOPs, gathering systems, and greenfield execution preferred.
Leadership Skills – Experience in project leadership roles to provide the overall vision, anticipate risks, and lead cross-functional decision making.  Ability to influence multi-functional teams spread over multiple locations and to deliver project and business performance goals in a challenging and multi-cultural work environment. Ability to communicate at all levels and foster effective working relationships inside the project leadership team and with outside parties. 
Interface Management – Ability to manage interfaces and coordinate with other functional groups to manage multiple work locations simultaneously, and to manage 3rd party site execution contractor performance. Able to work effectively across boundaries of disciplines, interfaces, and cultures.  Able to actively interface with Systems Completions and Operations to facilitate safe and predictable scope completion and handover.
OE and HES Leadership – Understanding of and demonstrated commitment to supporting safe work practices and Incident and Injury Free (IIF) initiatives. Experience with PTW systems, JSAs, SIMOPS, contractor safety and safety work processes related to construction activities.  Demonstrated experience providing active, visible leadership support with site execution contractors.
