Requirements:
  • Qualified in radio operations/Marine traffic or STCW
  • Offshore experience required
  • Telecom and communication equipment maintenance experience desired

Tasks:
  • Full knowledge and familiar with all communication equipment, holding GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress Safety System), VHF, Radio Telex
  • Full communication with Marine vessels from time to time for getting present location using the latitude and longitude
  • Communication with supply vessels/tug/anchor handling tug regarding for movements/supply run
  • Instructing all vessels in the field about their movements
  • Maintain the log for daily Work Progress
  • Maintain the daily progress reports, GMDSS logbook and vessel movement daily reports and etc.
