The client is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a 6-month contract located in Calgary, AB. Shifts would be scheduled Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities:

- Able to perform all general office duties
- Answers all incoming phone calls on the main phone line; screens and handles all incoming inquiries
- Greets and directs any visitors
- Coordinates staff events, and assists in the coordination of special events with clients and staff
- Schedules meetings, manages the set up/take down of meetings, organizes catering as needed
- Prepares and receives shipments
- Sorts and distributes all incoming mail
- Assists with any facility needs
- Maintains office supply inventory
- Assists staff and management with various requests
- Post-secondary business administration education and 1 year of previous related experience.
- Advanced knowledge and high proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, MS Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Passionate about customer focus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in performing tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong sense of initiative and personal accountability.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with peers, colleagues and senior level management.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and solution oriented.
- Professional manner, tact, diplomacy, and discretion in dealing with clients, vendors and associates including senior management.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality, upholding the highest ethical standards.
