Job Title: CNC Machinist II - 2nd Shift

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality expectations while supporting a production schedule
  • Execute daily priorities as defined by the supervisor or area lead
  • Set up and operate CNC machines (5-axis, mill, or lathe) to produce products that meet required specifications
  • Complete required documentation with accurate information
  • Inspect and ensure all dimensions are within print specifications and report any non-conformities
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 8+ years of CNC machining preferably on large mills
  • Understanding of CNC machine controls such as Siemens, Mazak, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of cutting tools, processes, hand tools and equipment
  • Ability to perform basic shop math
  • Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Ability to calculate and set controls to regulate machining
  • Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs
