Contract: Engineer 1 - Risk Analyst / Canada

Risk Analyst

Duties & Responsibilities:         

 

Risk Monitoring: 

- Support the upkeep, sustainment and improvement of Hazard and Risk Register.  - Support the transition of risk information to new database. 

 

Risk Assessment Support: 

- Apply fit for purpose risk assessment methodologies to identify and evaluate operational risks.

- Support the creation of risk communications.  Conduct value assessments (risk and benefit analysis).

 

Risk Monitoring & Communication: 

- Support risk monitoring and reporting activities. 

- Assist with the preparation of risk reports for use by management. 

- Interpret risk results to technical and non-technical audiences.

 

MUST HAVE qualifications:      

•           Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent

 

 

NICE TO HAVE qualifications:  

•           P.Eng; Experience or formal education in risk management and/or project management; relevant industry experience of conducting and managing risk assessments; •       Experience in data analysis, statistical analysis

 

Working Conditions:

•           Travel expected to be minimal/no on call.

•           Currently working remotely, with expectation to be back onsite once covid restrictions are lifted, per provincial guidelines
