The valued client, a large Oil & Gas company are seeking a Customer Service Rep on a long term contract basis in Leduc, AB.

 

What You Will Do in Your Role

 

  • Work effectively with Supply and Logistics staff to ensure product availability and inform customer of status in the event of any delays
  • Work effectively with operations team members to help work through any issues or opportunities that arise
  • Perform all receiving, creation of all shipment documentation & close out of shipments in SAP
  • Booking appointments for inbound deliveries to the plant
  • Work closely and effectively with plant operations team to meet the requirements for shipping required materials
  •  Ensure the accuracy of all bill of lading to accompany shipment(s) through verification with tripsheet unless advise about changes
  • Ensure the accuracy of all inbound receiving matches the paperwork prior of being receive in SAP
  • Attaching all inbound and outbound shipments documentation in SAP
  • Maintaining spreadsheets for inbound receiving that needs ASN and all pertinent documentation
  • Email plant purchasing representative with all inbound receiving related issues
  • Work with field locations on resolving shipment discrepancy within a timely manner upon actual shipment verification with warehouse staff and up to manager approvals.
  • Work closely with production planner on tripsheet discrepancy when needed for clarification on outgoing shipment.
  • Perform all duties in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager
 

Qualifications and Competencies

 

  • Highly motivated team player with a strong customer focus
  • Sound knowledge of ERP system (SAP) and Microsoft Tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage stressful / demanding situations, always presenting a professional company image.
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
