The client is currently recruiting for the position of SHE Advisor - Data Management and Reporting based in Aberdeen
Provides active support, advice and guidance to company on Safety, Health and Environmental Data. Co-ordinate the data management and reporting processes.
Provide specialist Environmental support and GHG data management assurance.
Accountability and Key Performance Areas
To support the business in further development, implementation and maintenance in the following areas;
* Promoting and maintaining company's Core Values and Culture
* Coordinate gathering of existing SHE Data and identify data gap in SHE data
* Analyse SHE data to identify common issues and drive SHE performance improvement
* Ensure SHE data required for company and Corporate Reporting is gathered and analysed within the timeframe required
* Lead the data gathering and preparation of various SHE reports to meet company and Corporate Reporting requirements, including Stewardship, Stakeholders, Annual SHE Report, Annual EMS Report, SECR, GHG reports, etc
* Provide GHG advice, lead GHG Verification and provide assurance to the GHG data management process
* Ensure SHE Department is aware of company reporting and data management requirements and has necessary tools to meet them.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Data Management and Reporting
* Develop, implement and maintain SHE data management and reporting processes to meet legal and company reporting requirements
* Provide regular reports, identifying and understanding trends, anomalies and non-conformances
* - and ensuring information is presented upwards to management, and outwards to the organisation
* Provide data to Operational and Functional TLs and advisors in regard their areas of responsibility, allowing them to effectively understand and manage data, and react as required
* Co-ordinate preparation of the SHE Annual Review and improvement planning process
* Co-ordinate preparation of the Stewardship Report and Stakeholder's Report
* Support in the development of the SHE Management System and procedures, as required
Specialist Environmental Support
* Provide support to SHE Ops Team regarding environmental permit applications
* Provide specialist environmental advice to SHE Team as required
* GHG specialist support
* Provide Environmental Regulatory and Policy advice
* Focal point representing the company and providing specialist advice on specific topics and agreed with Line Manager
Essential
* Ability to identify and implement improvements
* Experience of Incident Tracking databases and incident investigation skills
* Experience of participation in Emergency Response Team
* Background in Health & Safety support to offshore Oil & Gas industry (operators, service companies and consultancies
* Good understanding of SHE management systems, safety observation schemes and
* behavioural modification systems.
Preferred
* Experience of Root Cause analysis tool
* Experience of working offshore in an SHE Support Role

* Formal Environmental or Health & Safety Qualification

Member of appropriate professional organisation
