Contract: Geomatics Software Engineer / Brisbane

This role is on a contract basis with the initial scope of 12-18 months.

Job Requirements & Specifics:

The Geomatics Software Engineer will work in a team of Geospatial Specialists in providing geospatial data management and software engineering services as well as managing a wealth of geospatial and aspatial data, applications, workflows, and projects.

Implement and coordinate Agile and DevOps applications to ensure related activities are executed

Drive and implement new and novel technology, data delivery systems, data integrations and unique services in line with the Geospatial Strategy.

About You:

A tertiary degree(s) or equivalent in a relevant IT discipline
Relevant experience in IT roles and/or exposure to Geospatial Science or related Geoscience

Experience desirable in the use of ESRI ArcGIS Desktop (ArcPro), ESRI's ArcGIS Online (AGOL), ESRI Server GIS applications, FME, spatial programming, Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.Net MVC (V5+) (more than 5 years' experience)

Experience working in an Agile or DevOps software development environment, with a proven record of successful project delivery using this framework
Enjoy working both autonomously and within a larger team of developers
