Purpose of Role:
• Provide projects services expertise within the Modifications & Project Services team to ensure that processes and procedures remain fit for purpose and provide an adequate governance framework to work within. Drive performance improvement with Contractors. MAE*/MATTE* and HSE* Critical Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Client HSEQ procedures.
Ensures activities follow applicable Project Management Standard, Engineering Management Standards & VOSG Venture Ownership and Stage Gate Standard
Responsible for ensuring procedural compliance, identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities, and the implementation of Project Services related integration initiatives. • Areas of Responsibility Competence Level:
• Responsible for project services support across the full M&PS portfolio.
• Responsible for Project Services support to the Contractor monthly and quarterly Business Performance Reviews and specifically the development of standard performance metrics and related performance dashboard.
• Responsible for the implementation of Project Services integration activities across all Hubs.
• For externally produced estimate inputs, exercise oversight of, and interface with, contractor(s) project services team to ensure data quality. Identify non-conformances and direct remedial actions as required.
• Support cost control activities for the full M&PS portfolio, including cost forecasting, monthly reporting, budget planning/performance, and supply chain requisition/receipting/invoicing activities as required.
• Develop high level and detailed annual and total budgets for all phases and aspects of project life cycle to support Venture Owners in budgeting and approval processes.
• Develop and contribute to project/scope specific plans, procedures, as required, including project execution plans, estimates and basis documents, and contract & procurement strategies.
• Responsible for verification and integrity of cost and planning data utilised within economic models. Support development of economic scenario planning and decision models.
• Provide critical input for Venture Plan decision making, and support achievement of Venture objectives.
• Ensure project services deliverables meet the requirements for gate assurance, and close-out actions as required.
• Ensure stage close-out and benchmarking data is retained within company systems.
• Work closely with functional Project Services team to ensure consistent application of processes, systems, and procedures. Identify and source functional assistance as required to support the pre-development portfolio.

Critical Skills* Qualifications Experience, etc.
• Post graduate qualifications or suitable experience considered. Preference for engineering, business management, accountancy, risk management or similar qualifications.
• Significant project services experience in upstream projects or commensurate related experience. In depth technical knowledge of Project Controls areas (i.e. experience of working in most of the areas).
• Experience with external benchmarking and assurance organisations preferred
• Experience in risk management and CRSA preferable.
• Experience in business process automation and dashboarding (PowerBI) preferable
• Familiarity with deployment and integration of Building Information Management (BIM, 3D models, digital design tools, workflow automation, systems integration) and EMS systems as part of a Project Services platform.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective communication skills and ability to develop and present management reports at all levels.
• Software proficiency i.e. SAP/Maximo, BW, P6, Pertmaster, estimating tools, PIMS.
• Good understanding of engineering, on/offshore construction, HSE, QA etc.
• Promotes knowledge sharing – shares own project experiences and seek knowledge from other projects and organisations.
• Results orientated and focused on overall business objectives.
