Solar Engineer NL / netherlands

We are recruiting for a Solar Engineer, on behalf of the client.

They are looking for someone to be a part of their solar and battery storage team in Northern Europe and work alongside other technical professionals to provide technical consulting services.

Some responsibilities include:

• Solar resource assessments and energy production assessments
• Design optimisation of solar farms, utility and C&I scale
• Technology and design review of solar PV plants
• Site visits
• Due diligence of pre-construction and operational phase projects
• Winning new external work
• Use project management skills

Requirements for the role include:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in solar/ renewable energy, engineering, physics other relevant discipline
• Some years experience in solar sector in the Netherlands
• Excellent oral and written communication in Dutch and English
• Willingness to travel
• Experience with PVsyst, other PV modelling software, AutoCAD, python
• High proficiency in Microsoft
• Valid driving license
