This is an ideal role for a Contracts Administrator or Project Engineer with a goal to become a Project Manager.


Roles and Responsibilities of the Junior Project Manager will include:

• Assisting the Project Manager in the management and delivery of fit out projects up to the value of 5 million dollars.
• Project Planning, scheduling, cost control and budgeting.
• Assisting in the production of the construction program.
• Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors.
• Management of the Project Team including a Contracts Administrator.
• Clear and regular communication with stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Attending project-specific meetings with clients and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements.

Requirements to be considered for the Junior Project Manager role:

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management is essential.
• Ability to read and comprehend site drawings.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards and terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and proven communication skills.
• Aspirations to become a Project Manager.
