Contract: Engineering and Leadership Academy Development Manager / England

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Engineering and Leadership Academy Development Manager to join our client's inclusive and collaborative team. This contract role is remote in the UK and offers an excellent rate and the chance to be part of a positive and diverse workplace culture.

 

As a flexible Engineering and Leadership Academy Development Manager, you will have a pivotal role in designing, embedding, and sustaining the capability development programme. This includes partnering with technical functions to communicate and implement learning development and delivery. Based remotely in the UK, this position will be expected to travel frequently on business to Iraq to meet with team members and key stakeholders and deliver training as required.

 

Some of your responsibilities in this Engineering and Leadership Academy Development Manager job will include:

• Ownership of the strategy and plan for engineering and leadership development, delivering appropriate types of training to meet the current and future capability needs of the operating functions
• Partnering with the technical department managers or delegates to support and facilitate the Engineering and Leadership Capability Strategy development
• Identifying and deploying new approaches to enhance learning

 

 

To apply, you will need an engineering or equivalent science Bachelor's degree or UK degree equivalent, such as a Master's in Engineering. You will also require extensive experience in strategic engineering and leadership talent development. Additional requirements include:

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills and a focus on delivering pragmatic learning solutions in response to business challenges
• Experience in addressing employee and business or function capability needs and creating and managing learning solutions to realise them in the specific business context
• Significant expertise in managing the end to end learning lifecycle, including managing projects, teams and vendors
