Senior Auditor
Purpose of Role:
• Plan, prepare, conduct and report management systems audits, conduct audit follow-up and close-out activities and provide audit performance reporting and data/trend analysis.
• Ensures compliance and effectiveness of management system arrangements; compliance with applicable regulatory and other requirements; and facilitate continual improvement in both performance and management system structure through recommendation of robust actions.
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence Level:
• Plan, prepare, conduct HSE management systems audits.
• Reports audit findings to key stakeholders and ensures actions are entered in to Synergi.
• Conduct audit follow-up and close-out activities.
• Provide audit performance reporting and data/trend analysis including analysis of audit findings to understand common root causes.
• Use knowledge, experience and technical skills to provide input and develop/improve assurance process.
• Support, and where applicable, lead internal audits and vendor audits as well a supporting business functions in accordance with the agreed audit programmes.
• Develop, maintain and improve BMS procedures e.g. internal audits, vendor assurance and non-conformance.
• Deliver, in conjunction with training, Audit Training Programme.
• Participate in emergency response support as required.
• Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager.
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and HSEQ procedures
Qualifications and Skills
• Degree Qualified (Preferable) Engineering or Scientific Discipline
• IRCA Registered Lead Assessor, OHSMS and/or EMS and/or QMS (or equivalent).
• Membership of relevant professional body
• Experience including a comprehensive knowledge of HSE processes and procedures both Corporate directions and local application.
• Comprehensive knowledge of oil and gas industry operations, including supply chain, and UK legislative requirements.
• Effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literate with the ability to use computer and related technology efficiently
