Contract: Specialist, Safety / Kazakhstan

Location: Tengiz 28/28

Higher education degree in technical fields 
Experience in working as a safety engineer or a specialist in oil and gas industry (5-10 years) 
Kazakh, Russian – mandatory; English – preferred (Intermediate level). 
Strong user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook). 
Good communication and presentation skills.
Ensure support in following the RoK laws in the field of labor safety and protection. 
Undertake regular inspections at process facilities and develop / issue recommendations within their area of responsibility during Maintenance, Construction and Operation activities. Take part in pre-Turnaround / Turnaround activities, emergency response drills / drills, take part in data collection from the accident site. 
Participate in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews. Participate in Safety in Design checks and walkdowns.  Participate in project teams in different HSE-related areas Perform functional reviews under Management of Change process.  Provide support for inspections by regulatory agencies at process facilities. Participate in reviewing design and technical documentation for safety concerns. Conduct safety meetings.
Interact with contractor representatives to address H&S issues. 
Assist in the implementation of programs to certify process facilities for working conditions, industrial safety, inspections at work sites according to the process of safe work practices management, inspections on the process of verification and validation, assess the person responsible for the execution of work at the work site, participate in the development of procedures and instructions on labor safety and protection.
