Architectural Technician / Australia

Great opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join a leading design practice focusing on iconic multi-residential projects across Australia. 

Assist the Project Architect in the design and documentation of specific projects and manage specific tasks in conjunction with, or as delegated by the Project Architect.

 Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Establish and monitor task specific programs as directed by Project Architect
• Oversee and coordinate the work of required Consultants and Designers in conjunction with the Project Architect
• Assist in the Project Architect in ensuring that designs comply with all regulatory requirements, including NCC and Mirvac fit-for-purpose standards
• Coordinate documentation for consultants and sub-contractors
• Use project specific filing procedures throughout the course of the project
• Apply project specific QMS and sustainability standards to all documentation prior to issue
• Assist in the proper archiving of all relevant project data on completion
• Ensure that assigned tasks are within budget and documentation is delivered to program in a cost effective manner
• Liaise with Project Architect on resource requirements
• Advise Project Architect of any issues affecting completion of assigned tasks

Skills Required:

• Experience in Design/ Architecture/ Property Development industry
• Highly skilled in Revit
• Knowledge of regulations & BCA
• Documentation and archiving management
• Demonstrate keen interests and passion in architecture
• Good communication and written skills
• Work well in a team environment
• Appropriate tertiary Qualifications
