The valued client, a large Oil & Gas company are seeking an Electrical QA Advisor on a long-term contract basis in Lloydminster, AB.

 

This challenging opportunity will have you embedded in a project environment in Alberta/Saskatchewan representing the client performing walk downs, site visits, drawing review, ITP review, turnover review, meetings and assisting the project manager with daily tasks.

 

Main Responsibilities:

•           Oversee contractors to ensure compliance and enforcement of HSE

•           Ensure proper Job Hazard Analysis tasks are being performed

•           Ensure day to day task planning and schedules are being met

•           ITP approvals

•           Ensure quality control / verification

•           Review, and comment on EPC electrical design package on behalf of the client

•           Witness testing

•           Able to conduct site quality assurance and quality control during construction execution

•           Duration: Full time

•           Work location – Lloyd thermal, it may be a requirement later to also work at FCCL or Sunrise

•           Travel to multiple Lloyd thermal sites is required

 

 

Qualifications

•           Job requires a very thorough and detailed individual

•           Excellent documentation and communication skills

•           Familiar with Management of Change (MOC) processes

•           Be able to review and comment on work packages

•           Responsible for site quality and document reviews

•           Ensure consistency and integrity of electrical design throughout project

•           Maintain effective communication with internal and external groups regarding milestone achievements, costs, opportunities, etc.

•           Follow-up on deficiency work and ensure work is completed as per required scope

•           Minimum 10 years experienced in a similar role.

 

This is a full-time role where the rotation is 14 days on and 7 days off (12 hour days).
