Contract: Construction Engineer-II – Lead Construction Engineer / Kazakhstan

Location: Tengiz 28/28

• Works as a member of a multi-functional team on low to medium complexity projects with the following duties: 
• Function is located at site or in Business Partners’ (BPs’) fabrication yard during construction with minimal office engagement.
• Functions as the coordinator and facilitator of Lean Construction Last Planner System engagements in both Engineering and Execution phases
• Captures real time lessons learned and pushes continual improvement throughout execution
• Acts as primary point of contact for construction BPs at the work site
• Participate in developing and review of different deliverables such as, Constructability review, Construction Job Packs, BP Work Method Statements etc.
• Analyzes and resolves contractor queries related to design, construction  / installation activities (analysis, design, construction, etc.).
• Provides advanced recognition of execution risks, develops proposals to mitigate or eliminate those risks, for endorsement by Construction and Project supervision 
• Closely interfaces with company Project Engineer, and Engineering Contractor to communicate work scope clarity to company Construction and Construction BPs
• Participates in incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis studies.
• Uses quality tools and principles in executing own work
• Understands and can articulate customer and supplier requirements 
• By exception, Field Engineer will also function as Project Engineer on work scopes; in that case would be responsible for material management, engineering, project controls & planning – beyond Field Engineer duties noted above
Job Specification and requirements:
- Higher degree in engineering or construction field.
- Relevant work experience related to Job Description above - not less than 2 years 
- Strong Language Skills in Kazakh, Russian, English 
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiar with basic scheduling applications such as MS Project & Primavera P6
