Contract: Training & Competency Assurance Advisor / Lloydminster

The valued client, a large Oil & Gas company are seeking a Training & Competency Assurance Advisor in the Lloydminster, SK on a long-term contract basis.

 

The primary responsibility of the Operations Trainer role is to mentor and support the competency assurance training program for sites. Working closely with operations and maintenance to support training requirements, and assessments and to identify and close knowledge/skills gaps within their respective teams.

 

A key aspect of this role will be to support the continual development of employee performance through mentoring and assessing as part of the training process. The ideal candidate along with a strong operations technical background will possess and effectively demonstrate a high level of communication, integrity, and leadership.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• 5 years of oil and gas experience
• Valid Drivers License
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity at all times

• Framework
• Facilitation and presentation skills
• Project Management skills
• Demonstrated commitment to high safety standards
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with Stakeholders

• Superior troubleshooting skills, excellent organizational skills, problem-solving and planning skills
• Proficient with computers and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), SharePoint 2013
