Senior Microsoft Security Consultant

Job Responsibilities

Technical:

• Provide a strategic vision for customer approach to cyber security
• Lead the design, configuration and migration to Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance, and Azure Security Services.
  • Microsoft Identity and Access Management services, including Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Privileged Identity Management and Passwordless Authentication.
  • Microsoft Defender Suite, including Cloud Apps, Office 365, Endpoint, Cloud and Identity
  • Microsoft Compliance, Information Protection and Risk Management
  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Azure Security Services, including Firewall, Web Application Firewall, DDoS and Application Gateway
  • Azure Sentinel
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise infrastructure, application and cloud security technologies including ZTNA, SIEM, SOAR, MDR, WAF and SaaS based security offerings (SeCaaS)
• Up-to-date with the current security market trends

Pre-Sales:

• Sales and target driven, responsible for technical proposals, work closely with Sales Specialists to meet and exceed sales target.
• Strong technical sales and consultative selling skills in modern workplace solutions.
• Develop solution proposals and articulate the design and approach rationale.
• Professional Services effort estimates and Statement of Work development.
• Hands-on skills for implementing the proposed solutions.
• Can articulate the "Why Company" proposition with strong presentation skills
• Relationship retention and/or development with Microsoft specialist sellers

Job Requirements

Essential
The ideal candidate will have highly developed skills and experience in customer management, development, enterprise consulting and development solutions, including:

• Extensive and demonstrated experience in building, configuring, designing, migration of Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance, and Azure Security Services.
• Strong knowledge of the complexities in the delivery of enterprise projects.
• Experience in consulting environments, customer focused and ability to produce quality documentation.
• Exposure to various methodologies, best practices and technologies.
• Technical lead and management of multiple projects, define and understand customer problems, development of strategies.
• Exceptional communication skills, high level of technical expertise and extremely passionate about technology.
• Up to date Microsoft Certifications on one or more relevant technologies is mandatory.
• Minimum 6 years' experience with relevant technologies.

Highly Desirable

• Vendor agnostic certifications e.g., CISSP, CISM, Comptia Security +, ISC2 SSCP, SANS GSEC
• Existing relationships with Microsoft sales and technical specialists
• Previous experience in incubation and development of solution offers and service accelerators
