QC Technician (Electrical)

On behalf of a major IOC client, we are looking for a QC Technician (Electrical) in Uganda on a long term contract basis.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that all aspects of inspection are carried out effectively, and that all technical specifications are in compliance with statutory regulations and standards.
Undertake regular site visits to assess the work quality and delivery of the contractor and intervene as appropriate.
Undertake inspection tasks and reports as required.
Provide technical advice and support in relation to surveillance activities in the area over main contractors and other subcontractor/vendor activities.
Prvide assistance to the QC leader supervising and controlling the contractors.

Requirements:

HNC or Equivalent in an Engineering discipline
Valid CompEx Certificate
Minimum 10 years' relevant eperience gained in Oil and Gas with a recognised level of expertise
