Contract: Electrical Engineer / Kazakhstan

Location: Tengiz 28/28

Higher Education in a relevant technical field – minimum Bachelor of Science (4 year engineering degree)
At least 10  years’ experience in Electrical Engineering design and construction projects in oil and gas industry
Extensive track record of survey coordination and related work experience - preferably on Oil and Gas construction projects
Must be proficient in English 
Intermediate or advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills in English language. 
Excellent interpersonal skills
Highly motivated individual who can work independently
Able to work as a leader and interactive member of multi-cultural and cross functional teams
Establish and instill high standards regarding quality, accuracy, thoroughness, teamwork, and proactive problem solving
Demonstrated ability to prioritize numerous actions with multiple stakeholders and drive actions to closure in a timely fashion to avoid construction and commissioning delays.
Ability to investigate and interpret data and develop pragmatic, fit for purpose decisions
Ability to influence issue resolution with appropriate engineering justification
Able to maintain composure under pressure and resolve conflict
Energetic and physically willing to work indoor and outdoor in an extremely harsh climate, both summer and winter.
Emotionally resilient and able to cope with the rotational lifestyle and associated requirements.
Experience with design for general electrical, HV power systems, power management systems, and communication system design and design review
Review and understand Electrical and Power system designs in support of area delivery team and construction contractor execution planning
Develop new electrical and power system design solutions as required
Experience with field installation support, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and power generation systems
Respond to technical queries from construction team and contractor
Organize and manage multi-discipline team to develop construction and design solutions
Issue identification and resolution management
Experience with IEC electrical standards in design and construction.  
Experience with application of GOST-K and PUE standards is an asset.
