Inventory Planner/Analyst
Reports To: Inventory Supervisor
Function: Supply Chain – Logistics, Inventory

Experience & Technical Competencies
• 3 or more years in a Supply Chain / Logistics Inventory environment
• ERP system expertise, SAP Materials Management and Materials Master Data.

Function: Supply Chain – Logistics, Inventory
Location: Trinidad & Tobago
Purpose:
- The position is a key member of the Logistics Inventory team as a focal point delivering inventory services and guidance to the business.
- Contributes to the monitoring, analysis evaluation and management of inventory to support our operations and functions
- Ensure parts availability for the Operations by managing exceptions and expediting requests through the Tracker
- To ensure availability of inventory to support efficient, cost-effective supply to meet the forecast requirements of internal business partners to enable planned and emergent activities within agreed KPIs.

- Management of exceptions, assessing parts availability for scheduled work and make recommendations in line with the inventory planning process
- Review of free text items, identify opportunities for transfers and ensure parts availability alignment with work orders
- Coordinates proactively and effectively to expedite delivery of materials when schedule changes cannot be accommodated
- Manages demand thru the release of purchase requisitions, seeks to utilize inventory from within the network by transferring stock when possible
- Applies relevant material classification and stocking strategies in order to optimize inventory levels.
- Coordination with Procurement for the sourcing of materials and identification of materials to be added to existing outline agreements
- Applies an understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain to enhance efficiency, drive optimization, and maximize value; strive to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste
- Campaign Requirement and Transfer Analysis including financial impacts
- Coordination and Correspondence with Joint venture Partners, Principal Negotiators, and Finance
- Maintain stocking strategies and inventory rulesets
- Maintain min/max levels and safety stock
- Identify and address potential issues such as stock-outs and minimise waste
- Monitor and address MRP exceptions
- Address inventory enquiries from stakeholders
- Manage refurbishment of routable inventory items
- Process master data updates for new and existing materials and support phase out of obsolete materials
- Ensure capital spares are purchased and serialised through correct processes
- Ensure inventory compliance with Joint Venture requirements
- Generate inventory reports and KPIs on monthly or ad-hoc basis as needed
- Identify and recommend master data cleansing, alignment and improvement
- Support slow moving inventory and obsolete inventory reduction and improvement programmes for inventory.
- Comply with and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
- Comply with Risk Management protocols.
Qualifications
• Associates Degree, or higher preferred, relevant to Supply Chain
