Position - Project Estimator (m/f/d) Solar

Location: Germany, Wiesbaden

Opportunity

Joining to the team of specialist in the company with act as a market leader on the project development, financing, construction, operational management and maintenance of wind and solar farms, battery, and hydrogen projects worldwide.

Job Role / Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a central cost calculation tool
• Gather, assess, and compile all relevant costs in executing solar projects
• Support project managers in creating cost estimates for projects, in alignment with project groups
• Facilitate effective coordination of project cost estimate inputs from multiple departments
• Develop project estimates in line with best practice
• Organise or provide training and support to all project managers and relevant departments that use cost estimates to manage projects
• Develop and coordinate cost controlling with relevant teams and departments during project execution

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in cost estimation, budgeting, engineering management or similar
• Experience in planning and creating project cost estimates and cost controlling
• Competence in excel and other estimating tools
• Excellent written and spoken English and German language skills; further language skills will be an advantage
• Proactive and methodical approach to work
