Job Title: Wind HSE Coordinator

Country: Japan

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 Months Minimum

Job Description.

  • Performs Daily morning safety meetings (toolbox talks) with wind subcontractors on site
  • Sets up and conducts site safety inductions for all new workers on site
  • Assists wind site management with all HSE scope
  • Generates and archives safety documents following regulations of wind projects
  • Performs daily observations and safety walks
  • Conducts wind field audits on sub-contractors during their activities (erection and lifting crews for example)
  • Manages wind Contractor / subcontractor on HSE topics, including mobilization / demobilization, pre-qualification requirements and post-work assessment
  • Conducts site incident investigations: root cause analysis, action plan.
  • Represents wind Client at weekly project safety meetings and joint safety committee meetings
  • Completes Construction site inspection form, using Client IT tools
  • Completes wind HSE weekly project report and submits to HSE management and site management
  • Uses Client IT tools to report HSE data from site
  • Performs Jobsite hazards assessment / analysis / solutions, risk assessments, incident investigations and root cause analysis
  • Develops / improves processes and procedures, including comprehensive EH&S plans
  • Represents Client for customers or the administration for all HSE questions and requirements

Mandatory training requirements.

  • Wind GWO training package (work at heights, firefighting, first aid and ergonomics)
  • Valid driver's license and a vehicle available
  • Proven expertise in jobsite hazard assessment / analysis / solution, risk assessments, incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Experience in conducting wind inspections and audits
  • English speaking (writing and speaking level)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in wind energy, industrial or civil construction
