Quality Inspector - Finland - Wind / Finland, Europe

Role description

The Wind Quality Inspector is responsible for supporting the Wind Quality Manager in Wind Projects in implementing the Wind Project Quality Plan on Wind Farm site and executing quality activities on Wind Farm site in line with the requirements of the product specification and system.

The Wind Quality Inspector reports functionally to the Wind Quality Manager in Project of the Wind project and is being led on site by the Wind Site Manager. In case of non-project related issues or escalation the Wind Quality Inspector reports to the team lead of the Quality Inspector team.

Responsibilities

1. Quality Inspections and verification, partially with the installation subcontractor, customer representatives,
2. Service representatives
3. Preparing and conducting the Quality Site Kick Off presentation
4. Witnessing and assessment of workmanship practices (when performed) to verify and ensure quality levels
5. Quality reporting incl. Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting
6. Active reporting, management, and follow up of non-conformance work flows and records
7. Supporting the site organisation in use of the non-conformance system
8. Receipt, verification and upload of as-built quality documentation
9. Maintenance of wind turbine trace ability within the Wind Farm pre-assembly, installation and commissioning phases

Required Training and Equipment

1. The Contractor will bring laptop, I-Pad and other specific equipment required to execute the inspection works whereas the customer takes care of system access.
2. All required Wind Personal Protective Equipment for the Contractors employees (Safety clothing, safety shoes, helmet and certified harness)
