Mechanical Assembler – initial 6 month contract – Based Farnborough

Our client, a specialist provider of equipment, technology & services to the global Oil & Gas industry is currently seeking to hire a suitably experienced Mechanical Assembler to be based at their facility in Farnborough, Hampshire.

The position will be offered on a PAYE contract for an initial duration of 6 months but may be extended.

Description:

• Good mechanical background
• Knowledge of machines, hand tools and power tools needed for assembly.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to follow instruction.
• Follow HSE regulations whilst on-site
• Maintaining housekeeping in accordance with company standards.
• Compliance to company standards of safety and quality

Qualifications / Experience:

• Prior experience gained in a similar Mechanical Fitter / Assembly type role
• Mechanical qualification / certification (preferred)
