Contract: Field Operations Lead / Qatar

TAX Free Contractual Job Opportunity has just been made available for an experienced Field Operations Lead to be based in Qatar by an oil and gas industry leader. 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To guarantee the implementation of a quality policy ensuring the operability, maintainability, reliability and safety of the new production facilities.
• To ensure integration of the new equipment or facilities in the Al Shaheen Field.
• To cover all production related topics within projects, including process and flow assurance studies if any.

To qualify, candidate must posses the following: 

• Minimum education level: BSc in Engineering discipline
• Experience with Offshore Remote Not Normally Manned Wellhead Operations
• Experienced Working between Operations and EPCIC Contractors to optimise design with regard to Safety, Operability/Maintainability/Reliability and managing OPEX through Field Life
• Understanding of Production impacts/shortfalls and shutdown requirements for implementation of Projects
• Experience of/participation in HAZID, HAZOP, Risk Reviews
• Participation experience in 3D model reviews
• Understanding of Operability/Maintainability/Reliability
• Operations profile with Field experience and previous experience gained in Production Operations and Projects positions (5 to 10 years minimum). Knowledge of Al Shaheen Field preferred.
• Familiar with Production, Process and Flow Assurance Engineering.
• Familiar with company standards, MANASA and relevant codes and standards,
• Language: Fluent English,
• Computer literate
• Good communication and transverse skills,
• Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
• Good analytical skills,
• Available for frequent missions to EPCIC Contractor and Vendor sites
• H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET training.
