Finance Assistant | Engineering / Australia

About the Role
As the Finance Assistant for this Engineering Consultancy firm with an APAC reach, you will report directly into the Finance Manager to assist across the end to end finance function with aims of further developing processes & procedures throughout this exciting period of growth within the business. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an early career accountant who is looking to further develop their career within the finance realm - specifically within the construction or engineering industry. 
  
Your responsibilities will be including;

• Reviewing and verifying invoices for payment
• Reconciliation and payment of end of month Creditor statements
• Preparation of and assistance with end of month reporting
• Resolving supplier queries in a timely manner
• Filing and Archiving
• Client invoicing & timesheet analysis 
• Employee start ups and terminations
• and more! 

About You
To be considered for this position you will be an financial professional who is looking to develop their career further within the construction or engineering industry. You will have:

• Minimum 2 years experience within a similar role 
• Experience within the construction or engineering industry is ESSENTIAL
• Tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance or working towards is preferred
• Developed communication skills
• Experienced using Quickbooks ideal, however MYOB & XERO experience considered 
• MS Office suite proficient
