We are currently seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist to join their team on a permanent basis to provide specialist advice and assurance on their ongoing Oil & Gas projects in Queensland.

Job Requirements & Specifics:
- The Senior Environmental Scientist will primarily focus on preparing and submitting all environmental permits & approvals as well as ensuring Environmental Authority compliance primarily across CSG water management and rehabilitation.
- Undertake environmental monitoring inspections, maintain environmental disturbance, rehabilitation, and financial assurance registers.
- Provide oversight to the environmental monitoring programme including Noise, Gas, Soil and water samplings and vegetation assessments.
- Supporting delivery and monitoring framework for adaptive land management measures
About You:
- A Degree(s) or equivalent in a relevant science or environmental science discipline, or environmental management, or environmental engineering.
- General knowledge of Queensland environment legislation and standards. Working knowledge in the application of HSE legislation, tools and techniques.
- Proven operational and project experience and knowledge of industry safety and environment risks.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a frontline implementation role.
- Be willing to travel regularly to the field in central Queensland.
- Relentless drive for simplification and improvement.
