Work-Over System Certification Engineer

Responsibilities:

Assist, advise, and conduct hydraulic testing on WOS equipment and tooling
Assist in the creation of Work Instructions for repairs and modifications of WOS equipment and related tooling as required
Supervise and train Workshop Mechanics to do WOS related work safely, accurately, and with utmost quality. Ensure that facilities and equipment are correctly operated and report any deviations
Provide Subject Matter Expertise for subsea WOS especially during investigations or systems analysis
Supervise execution of Rig-less Subsea Light Intervention Package (RSLIP) assembly & test work instructions
Review and approve RSLIP offshore operations procedures in concert RSLIP Project Engineers
Generate and present recommendations for WOS Certification pre-purchasing in line with Client guidance
Create and/or approve local Special Work Instructions (SWI) for WOS Certification activities
Create SWI for general maintenance activities or repairs in support of the ATE and Workshop personnel as required
Generate SolidWorks sketches and drawings, when necessary

Desired Qualifications

A deep knowledge regarding industry standards, norms, and best practices
Knowledge and understanding of Client & Aker Solutions' offshore activities
Ability to understand the constraints of a service industry and to pragmatically confront and solve any potential quality problems
Strong knowledge of verbal and written English for contractual communication
Having French language skills in addition is an advantage
