Instrumentation & Electrical Construction Specialist manages the activities of Contractors and ensures HES safe work practices are obeyed at various construction sites of the Field and Field facilities. He directly reports to FECG New Wells Team Lead and works independently with minimum supervision and has the following duties:
Establishes high standards regarding HES tools such as PTW/PPHA/JSA, SP and MSW in purpose of project execution without incidents.
Ensures all construction activities are following RoK construction regulatory requirements. Controls the construction activities to meet schedule needs and reports delays if any.
Manages the arrangement of Instructions to Contractor (ITC) and Site Engineering Query (SEQ), and shares information with Contractors and Project Engineers (PE).
Provides support to Construction Engineers in the construction phase of projects.
Thoroughly reviews technical queries requested by Business Partner and assesses its need before Construction Engineer start its further processing.
Accompanies during construction walkdowns and provides all required information for closing open issues regarding construction and installation work.
Cooperates with Project Engineers Team, sharing construction experience in workshops on designing and constructability.
Reviews Job Packs and drawings, comments on matters of constructability and non-compliance of safety in design requirements.
Verifies material take off (MTO), material requisitions (MR) and purchase orders (PO); applies his knowledge on materials to prevent from lack of supply or non-compliance.
Cooperates with Operations, OPS, Turnover specialists, Reliability, and other parties concerned in purpose of successful handover to end user.
Meets with Business Partners (BP) management to coordinate resources and resolve issues which impact on project execution.
Construction Specialist is recognized specialist in corresponding discipline and able to provide good proposals on resolving complex issues during the construction which cover multiple disciplines.
Job Specification and requirements:
Required:
Citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Engineering Degree from an accredited University with Instrumentation or Electrical specialty.
Proficient computer skills particularly MS Outlook, Word, and Excel;
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Flexible management style able to communicate in all directions and create sphere of influence
Preferred:
Kazakh language proficiency (speak) – Basic level – for communication with Business Partner employees
English language proficiency (speak/read/write) - Basic level.
