Must be familiar with:
• Gas Turbine Generation Plants
• HV Distribution Systems up to 115KV (gas-insulated switchgears)
• 35 KV, 10KV, and 6 KV Switchboards and associated transformers
• UPS Systems (Gutor).
• Batteries.
• Harmonics filters.
• Infra-red Technology and equipment ultra-sonic scanning.
• Power management Systems
• Variable Speed Drives
• Electrical Control and Power Distribution Systems
• Cathodic Protection & Heat Tracing Systems
• Intelligent electrical protection relays
• Fast Load Shed Systems
• Power Monitoring Systems
• Earthing Systems
• Lightning Protection systems
• Lighting Systems
• RoK legislative and other regulatory legal acts, methodical instructions for procedures development, processing and approval;
• System of training materials standards;
• Standard process of production procedures in upstream and gas division;
Job functions and responsibilities
Contributes to safety program, health and environment protection, reliability and efficiency in order to achieve world-class performance of OE strategies.
Fulfils the official training program for Operations and Maintenance groups and ensures compliance with RoK laws and regulations.
Implements SERIP training requirements, and ensures employees are provided with training to perform their daily duties in order to maintain production reliability.
Assists in training materials and production procedures development to ensure the initial start-up and subsequent operation of production units.
Performs a search of technical documentation and materials, contacts electrical equipment manufacturer.
Serves as a link between Operations and Maintenance Supervisors and Operations Competency Development Group.
Consults Operations staff and managers to complete procedures in a timely manner and in compliance with all requirements.
Participates in production and maintenance procedures standardization process.
Maintained communication with Units Specialist and Supervisors regarding writing, updating, standardizing procedures with normal standardization cycle, as well as on the results of incident investigations.
Works as a team with group. Work in multi-tasking mode
Creates maintenance task lists for new equipment.
Creates lists of maintenance procedures.
Participates walkdowns for handing over facilities.
Acts as an expert when checking quality of maintenance procedures.
Jointly with Operations and Maintenance representatives arranges on-site inspections of developed operation and maintenance procedures.
Qualification requirements
Education - Higher Technical
Work experience - Minimum of 10 years of experience in Power Generation and Distribution system.
Language skills – Kazakh-native, Russian-native, English - intermediate
PC knowledge and skills - Strong user of MS Office applications such as MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Outlook
