Position - Environmental Specialist

Location - Poland

Role description

Reporting to the Senior Environmental Specialist, you will be involved in the preparation of documents for projects related to the construction of solar power plants by assisting in putting together the environmental impact reports; supervising the correctness of environmental inventories; participating in environmental procedures conducted by environmental protection authorities (including frequent telephone contacts and visits to offices) and creating documentation, studies, expert opinions, using own knowledge and literature.

You will be involved in regular trips to the area of planned investments for inspection of possible impacts generated by the projects and obtaining information from all appropriate sources. You will also cooperate with other departments of the Company in order to provide opinions, explanations and indicate possible solutions in the environmental protection arena.

Desirable Skills:

  • Degree, Environmental studies
  • Experience in environmental impact assessment, procedures for obtaining environmental decisions and natural habitats inventories.
  • Communicativeness, ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work in English
  • Driving license B
