Contract: Senior Marine Advisor / Perth

The Senior Mariner Advisor will support the Marine Delivery team in the execution of safe, reliable and cost-efficient operations. You will provide support in the management of marine risk of all Woodside offshore marine operations

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide marine technical expertise to support safe offshore operations,
• Support contractor management activities, including HSE and operational performance,
• Update key technical documents, such as the Marine Charterer Instructions, to support safe offshore operations
• Lead project management activities, including an Accommodation Support Vessel scope, as directed by Marine Delivery Manager
• Support the re-introduction of LNG fuelling operations for a Woodside chartered Platform Supply Vessel (desirable)

Skills & Experience:

• Master Mariner or Chief Engineer qualified highly preferred, or equivalent
• Previous experience working for O&G or vessel operator highly preferred
• Extensive experience with offshore marine operations
• Knowledge and experience of Accommodation Support Vessel or Walk to Work operations, with ability to lead required project management activities
• Deep understanding of managing all facets of marine operations HSE and process safety risk
• Experience delivering activities or projects through internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to influence and earn credibility across all levels of the organisation.
• Demonstrate positive influence on team and organisation.
• Clearly aligned to company, facility and management goals and objectives.
• Familiarity with installation, maintenance, and operations of offshore moorings is beneficial
