This building company has been building on the Central Coast for the past 7 years and is expanding and taking on larger housing projects. They are focusing on new stand-alone homes, duplexes and townhouses across the Newcastle/Hunter and Central Coast areas.
They're looking for an additional staff member for their projects team to support the two Project Managers. This role will be supported by a Project Administrator who will help with the admin.

- Take offs for carpentry and roofing

- Dealing with existing trade base for quick and simple procurement on granny flats (electric, plumbing, painting)
- Managing the deliveries, trades, works done, quality checks done, EOT’s progress claims, work with finance team to make sure variations are done
- Work with the Project Admin for administration of Occupational Certificate documents
- For more complex homes: working with the Estimator to understand what they've allowed for, manage procurement, get the job off the ground,
- As the business grows, moving into a PM role or into a Site Supervising role.
- Based full time in the office
- Tertiary qualification or relevant experience
- Sound understanding of contract management, budget management and financial reporting
- Sound ability to read and understand design documents and to formulate scopes of work
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong administrative experience, previous use of cost management software and project management software
- Strong understanding of building techniques/methodologies and management of subcontractors
