Job Description.
Both the Electrical Supervisor's and the Lead Electrical Supervisor's main job purpose is to provide technical (especially electrical) expertise during the installation and finishing phase to prepare the WT / WF for commissioning. Additionally, the ESV and LESV can be involved in resolving quality deviations (de-snagging) to ensure not only a smooth handover to the customer but also a smooth operation over the WT's lifetime. To achieve this, all installation and finishing activities are to be executed in a safe manner considering the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
The LESV's main job purpose is to lead and co-ordinate all ESVs on site and to provide technical (especially electrical) expertise during the installation, in collaboration with the LMSV and finishing phase in order to prepare the WT/ WF for commissioning. Specifically, the ESV and the LESV will:
-Support the QM on technical non-conformities and to ensure compliance with 'Management of Change' requirements for reporting, developing solutions and implementation.
-Support the SM for Quality Gate 1 and incoming goods inspections.
-Assist the SM, QM and Electrical PE on foundation and component electrical continuity checks.
-Support the SM and QM with collating and checking for completeness, before releasing the Commissioning documentation, Statutory Inspections, and reports.
-Organise and support the Gate 23 process with the SM and QM.
-Collate the necessary information for reporting and managing NCRs and Incidents in UPVISE/ServiceNow or the prevailing software management tool.
-Maintain close contact with QM for ordering and tracking missing parts and Requisition Notes (RNs);
-Responsible to submit the GCV request for WTs.
-Lead with the provided documentation for First energisation and final inspections through to Final Energization.
-Support in general terms on all electrical matters within the Client's Scope of supply.
-Assume the 'Nominated' electrical person role as per EN 50110-1 and observe that there is always a nominated person on site
-Moreover, the LESV will be involved in resolving quality deviations (de-snagging) to ensure not only a smooth handover to the customer but also a smooth operation over the WTG's lifetime. To achieve this, all installation and finishing activities are to be executed in a safe manner considering the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Additionally, the LESV will be involved in:
-Provide ad-hoc training to the site team and subcontractors
Mandatory training requirements.
