We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager / R&D Manager to join the client, a payroll software company. The R&D manager will be leading the development of the payroll regional software and work alongside the IT Director.

Responsibilities

Write and review product / development testing documents in English
Lead and manage the Payroll RND team in Malaysia, coach the staff to achieve team goals
Collaboratively develop and maintain existing HRMS software for Personnel and Payroll modules
Ensure deliverables items are done in timely manner.
Participate in requirement studies with PM team and use the information gathered to ensure that the software developed fulfil the requirement
Support the Technical Support ticketing system
Take part in the recruitment process of new R&D members
Be a persistent, creative problem solver and contactable during non-working hours

Qualifications

Good understanding of confidentiality issues and Employment Law
Minimum 5 years experience in Software Development,IT/Computer equivalent
At least 3 years experience managing an R&D team
Degree in Computer Science or related IT fields
Proficiency in C#, NET, SQL Server, Web-MVC
Proficient in English
Ability to travel when necessary
