Project Manager – Commercial Construction – Education Projects – Northern Suburbs    

This role represents a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to secure their next permanent role. The client is a well-established commercial construction company based in Melbourne. They have enjoyed continued growth for many years. As a result, this company has an urgent requirement for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a full-time basis to work on current education projects in the northern suburbs.

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Management and leadership of project
• Manage site-based team
• Project programming
• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
• Attending client meetings and handling negotiations
• Keep track of progress to report back to Senior Management      

Experience/Skills required:

• Degree in Construction Management
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager for a Commercial Builder in Melbourne
• Experience successfully managing commercial projects in the range of $5-$30M
• Proficiency in either Jobpac or Cheops
• A strong background in D&C projects
• Strong verbal and written skills
