We are looking for Local candidates to work as Energy Planning Manager for a technology company in Erbil.

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Erbil

Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for all Power equipment, A/C systems, Generators & Fuel form planning and optimization perspective.
Formulate strategic of objectives belong to power section.
Ability to make engineering decisions for new ideas to be deployed.
Business continuity plan for service availability.
Optimize the power OPEX in Telecom sites.
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise projects team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Benchmarking energy consumption against best practice guidelines.
Carrying out site inspections and completing energy surveys.
Collecting energy monitoring data and keeping accurate records.
Creating energy policies and systems.
Encouraging the use of renewable and sustainable energy resources.
Negotiating with contractors and external stakeholders.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by Line Manager.

Requirements:

Graduate Engineer in Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation & Control from an accredited College or University.
Minimum 3 years of combined cycle power plant O&M experience with minimum three years in team lead position in plant maintenance.
Fluency in Kurdish. Excellent command in English language.
