The company:

Established residential building company based on the Central Coast is looking for a Project Manager to head up their new build dwelling arm. The projects are new homes, duplexes and townhouses across the Central Coast and into the Newcastle area. Project values $500k - $5mn with six or more project running concurrently at any given time. The business will be winning commercial work in the future, therefore work in this space will also be available. 

The role will be under the direction and guidance of the Director of the business, who will aim to support you. You will work along-side a Junior Project Manager and the Site Supervisors.

The role will offer:

  • Software and systems set up: Bluebeam and Buildertrend 
  • Progression into an Operations or Construction Manager role

Your role as the Project Manager:
  • Programming and budgeting the projects
  • Design, DA and front end set up of the projects
  • Get civil, site clearance, structures to completion finished
  • Liaise with subbies, clients and consultants on a weekly basis.
  • Cost reportings with the Estimators and CAs
  • Site based and office based role, travel will be required between sites and the office 
  • Work alongside Site Managers to run the job sites
  • Running new home sites from the Central Coast into Newcastle 
You will need:
  • Degree qualification or Trade and local experience 
  • Experience running new build projects up to $5mn
  • Ability to travel between projects and the office, remain in a long-term role and work alongside other office staff and under the Director of the business.
  • Full drivers license 
  • Ability to work full time in an office and on site with regular office hours
